Director and CEO
Ferdy graduated from Melbourne University with a Bachelor of Commerce/Arts. He then went on to complete his Masters of Information Technology at RMIT and a Masters of Applied Finance at Melbourne University. After working as an accountant for a number of years, Ferdy began with Accountancy Insurance in the early years of the company’s inception. In these times he fundamentally developed the IT systems and infrastructure as well as building rapport with clients that the company still provide for to this day. Ferdy’s responsibility as CEO is to provide strategic direction and vision for Accountancy Insurance in conjunction with ensuring the best possible service and results for clients.
Pat is one of Accountancy Insurance’s founding Directors, establishing the organisation in 2003. Pat commenced his career in financial accounting in the early 1980’s before spending a number of years working in the public practice area. During his time at Accountancy Insurance Pat has developed the systems and processes of Accountancy Insurance from the ground up. Pat’s diverse and well-rounded accounting experience, has assisted him greatly in creating and building the company, whilst his many years spent in the public practice area has enabled him to not only have a great insight into public practice workings but also of their requirements and expectations.
Roman started his public practice career in 1984, working in small and mid-sized practices before starting Halifax Business Consulting in 1998. It was during his time at Halifax that he was introduced to Accountancy Insurance, initially as the external accountants in 2004 in the early stages of operation. Roman’s skills and expertise saw him assist and train claims staff at Vero (one of Australia’s largest insurance companies). Roman was an adviser on the Accountancy Insurance Board until 2009 when he became a Director.
Grant has extensive management experience across businesses in the retail, communications and insurance industries, focusing on providing solutions and client service. Grant has spent the better part of the decade interacting with accountants and understanding the challenges that public practitioners face. Importantly he has used this knowledge to ensure that Accountancy Insurance's offerings meets and exceeds the expectations of client firms and provides a simple, effective solution to some of these challenges. Grant is now a non-executive Director although has spent a significant time with Accountancy Insurance as the Director of Sales and Marketing where he was responsible for marketing to the accounting industry.
